First Dates!

I wrote this article last year for a friend of mine. Wonder if he published it or so.

First dates are always very exciting, especially if you have been waiting a long time for the guy of your dreams to ask you out.
Of course what you wear on that date will have to be very impressive so that future dates would be possible.
You have to consider some factors in picking out that perfect ensemble, first and foremost, where are we going? What time is he picking me up? How long do i think we will spend together? What has he previously seen me in? And a host of others depending on your circumstances.
Most times, your date would ask ' can we go see a movie together on saturday?' Or 'what are you doing after work on friday?' Or 'i have a wedding to attend, it will be nice if we could go together' (that is probably too forward for a first date but then, you never know. Lol)
These questions obviously give you a time frame. After work on friday, you have to consider if you can change or if you would just have to adjust your day time look to night time instantly. Friday's are usually the days to dress down, so you are already probably wearing a pair of jeans or an easy gown. After work, you can decide to flash up your attire with some jewellery and let down your hair or change from your work shirt to a casual or party top in the bathroom.
A movie on saturday is relaxation and casual, so no need to be all dressed up in suits and stuff. This is the time to impress with your casuals, either a short flattering gown, or a maxi gown, it all depends on how you feel and what works best for your body. You might want to carry a jacket though cause the cinema's are always cold. (Or you could just lean into him for warmth. *wink*)
A wedding would require something elegant and definitely not white, we don't want to steal d bride's shine (except ofcourse, its Kim kardashian who wants the theme of her wedding to be black and white, i suggest you don't follow that trend sha, we want to give the wedding a chance.). A halter neck gown should do the trick or whatever gown makes you comfy, and please bold colors.
Just bear in mind that whatever you wear, you don't want to look out of place but you definitely must remember over- dressed is better than under dressed anytime. And in my opinion, you should not bear it all out, a little tease here and there would definitely get you a second date, cause the guy would surely want to see more! *kisses*
